Reporting to the Manager, Central Engineering and under the guidance of the Lead Digital Broadcast Engineer, the Systems Administrator specializes in the installation, operation and maintenance of the servers supporting broadcast engineering (audio & video digital systems) and, as part of the Central Engineering team, may participate in maintenance and installation of digital broadcast equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage servers and workstations, for digital audio and video systems, on MS Windows and Linux operating systems in Active Directory environment.
- Administer virtual servers on VMware platforms.
- Administer Synology Network Attached Storages (NAS).
- Executes day to day troubleshooting of HW and SW problems.
- Install, operate, and maintain digital audio and video systems.
- Creates and maintains systems documentation.
- Assist in supporting bureaus and help them with solving their specific digital broadcast systems problems throughout Eastern Europe, Central Asia, North America, and other locations, as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Technical field, secondary.
Work Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience with supporting MS Windows Servers (physical/virtual), Windows 10, Linux, Active Directory.
- Experience with supporting VMware products.
- Experience with administration of audio & video equipment.
- User experience with digital audio and video editing software packages (Adobe Premiere and Audition).
Competencies:
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- IT systems engineering.
- Digital audio and video engineering.
Languages:
- Czech language - Fluent.
- English language Working Knowledge Oral and Written.
